Sandi and Meeka

I met Sandi and her Pom dog Meeka in South Haven. Gary and I walked by them, and I took one look at Sandi's fantastic hair, and her dog's fantastic , fluffy fur, and I just knew I had to draw them. I am shy about asking people if I can take their picture or not, especially strangers, but I overcame my shyness, and I am glad I did.

Brilliant. Your colours are always just right on the money. these are the kind of portraits I'd love to draw. GREAT.

You have such a great style! That's funny about the hair and the dog's fur but you've captured both perfectly.

Wow! This came out great. Hair..hair..hair. Makes a great visual. I also love how the call to sketch helped you overcome shyness.
